Earthquaker The Depths
EarthQuaker Devices’ The Depths is an all-analog, optical vibes effects pedal that will take you into unchartered waters. A modern take on an optical vibe circuit, this pedal is great for guitars, as well as other instruments you want to add a swirling, three-dimensional effect to. Use the Throb, Voice and Depths knobs to adjust the dreamy-ness of your tone and low-end throbs. Then adjust the Intensity and Rate knobs to choose how smooth, sharp, sparkling and pulsating you wish the warbles to sound. The Level knob lets you boost your signal to make up for any perceived volume losses that you might experience, or use it to cut the signal.
Power The Depths with a 9-volt battery to produce warmer tones. For more headroom, sparkle and a stiffer tone, go up to an 18-volt. With endless sonic combinations, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to dive deep with The Depths, where the modulation gives you the good type of bends.
CONTROLS
Voice- Dials in the overall sound. Turn it clockwise for a fuller sound with more lows, bring it back for a thinner, more midrange focused tone.
Throb- This controls the low end pulse. It may not be immediately evident on the bridge pickup, but switch to the neck or add some dirt and it comes alive. All the way up for more throb, dial it back for less. Works best when the “Voice” is set to a warmer tone.
Intensity- This controls how subtle or intense the overall effect is. Counter clockwise from noon are the more subtle, classic sounds. Clockwise from noon are the more drastic and intense sounds.
Rate- Controls the speed of the effect. Counterclockwise for slow, clockwise for fast.
Level- Controls the volume of the effect. Unity is around 1 O’clock, everything above that is boost.
Measures 4 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ x 2.25″ with knobs
Power A standard regulated 9-18 volt DC power supply with a negative center 2.1mm barrel. We do not recommend any adapter that isn’t designed for musical instruments. Do not run at higher voltages! Powering at 9v gives a warmer and more natural sound, 18v will be stronger with more headroom and “sparkle”. Does not use batteries. Current draw is 35ma.

(you have 14 days from the date of delivery until you notifiy us that you are returning your product) If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from LAWK STAR Guitars you may return it to us for a full refund of the original purchase price. You must return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories, stickers, etc.) and in it's original condition. Any items returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, or modified) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price or may not be refundable at all. This of course depends upon the damage and will be reviewed by management on a case by case basis. Your return should be packaged very carefully. You may choose your own shipping source (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.). We strongly recommend some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation and insurance. We do not take responsibility for lost packages or damaged packages from shipping.
Most refunds will be process within 2 – 3 business days after we have received the product back. Please keep in mind some credit cards refunds may take up to 10 business days to post on the account.
SPECIAL ORDERS & DISCOUNTED / REDUCED ITEMS however are NOT refundable! Some may be available for an in store credit. This will be determined on a case by case basis, depending on the product, value, and situation.
In the event a product delivery is refused by the customer and shipment is returned to the LSG Facility, the cost of the return shipping charges will be withheld from customers refund. No exceptions.
Many shipments require a signature at delivery. In most cases the shipping company will try 3 times and if delivery is unsuccessful it is shipped back to the LSG Facility, the cost of the return shipping charges will be withheld from customers refund.
